Volunteers needed - speed watch scheme

Ratcliffe on the Wreake have been invited to take part in Leicestershire County Council & Leicestershire Police's Community Speedwatch programme in May. This will allow us to carry out speed patrols in the village and report the results to Leicestershire Police, for the purposes of delivering some words of advice to the registered keeper of the vehicle.

To do this we require a dozen volunteers to be trained in advance of the programme beginning and patrol in threes in specified locations.
